As a Foresight Practitioner and Design Strategist, I believe that knowing what is happening today can help make better choices for tomorrow. By blending foresight and design thinking methodologies, and leveraging the power of collaboration, I help create truly meaningful and innovative products.
My background in Industrial Design underpins my knowledge as a design thinker. I deliver a wide range of foresight reports - from macro to micro level, from global to regional scale - by performing field observation, visiting influential trade shows and conferences, and reading voraciously.
With all of my research I strive to deliver thought-provoking reports, engaging design thinking workshops, and actionable insights.
I team with design researchers, ID and UX designers, concept developers and design management to unveil compelling solutions to design problems. In addition to providing inspiration through trends, I also specialise in educating others on the foresight process and creating tool kits to act on trends.
Outside Work
When not searching for new trends, you can find me attempting a plethora of domestic pursuits: knitting, dyeing yarn, feltmaking, gardening, cooking, preserving, cheesemaking, and dreaming of owning an alpaca farm. Iām also a fan of ashtanga yoga, and occasionally pretend to enjoy running.
You can sometimes find me volunteering at the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society, helping cats find their forever homes.
